Delaware Counties
Delaware has three counties. Each one handles its own probate files, deeds, and Register of Wills records, but the Delaware Death Index itself lives at the state level with the Office of Vital Statistics. The three counties cover the whole state from top to bottom: New Castle in the north, Kent in the middle, and Sussex in the south. Pick a county below to find local office contacts, nearby vital records locations, Register of Wills hours, and links for ordering a certified death certificate for a resident of that county.
